All Is New

Scriptures: Revelations 21:1-7 & 2 Corinthians 5:11-21

As the new year dawns and we think about our new year’s resolutions, it is important for us to remember that Christ came into our lives with a resolution handed down from God: to make all things new.

The end of our story includes a new Heaven and a new Earth. And Earth is the people that reside within it. How many of those people with whom we interact and live each day will be able to stand before God and hear Him say, “Well don, good and faithful servant”?

Our days are short and we need to use those days to spread God’s meassage of reconciliation and redemption to those around us. For there is one “thing” that we can take with us at the end of life: family, friends, and loved ones. But only if they have heard and accepted the Word of God.

We need to focus on telling, showing, and living the message of God’s love and reconciliation so that those around us may see, experience, and come to know Him. May we be bold in our love for God and others and unafraid of our faith and the sharing of it.
