To Be Still And Know

Scripture: Psalm 46

Text: He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.” (vs 10)

In the busyness of life and the world, there’s much that can get in our way, especially ourselves. We can get so consumed with what we should be doing and what should be done, that we forget that God will accomplish His ends with or without us. His glory is not dependent upon us or how busy or successful we are.

The world cries out, “Get busy!” God welcomes us, “Come, sit down.” He encourages us to be still, listen for, hear, see, and experience Him.

Whether you are needing safe harbor in the midst of change or waiting in the middle, God is still working for you. He always remains.
