Eyes on the Prize

Scripture: Hebrews 13:1-12

There are two ways to win in any game: 1) keep the other team from winning, or 2) focus on your team winning.

Sometimes we forget that all that we do in the name of Christ is the means, not the end. Actions = means. Winning souls to Christ = the end.

Discipline is a dual-definition word. One definition means “correction”. Another means “to train for a task, especially when preparation is difficult or challenging”.

God only asks us to get to the next step, to run the race step by step, not all at one. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” – Psalm 119:105
