Hope and Fear

Scripture: Roman 8:18-39

Hope often goes hand-in-hand with fear. Hope makes life bearable and doable amidst fear.

We have this hope in Jesus Christ that, someday, where He is, we will be also, that we will someday be together with him.

We are bearers of the liberating work and hope in Christ. We reflect His light. Mankind and the work of Christ are our business in this life, and even though Christ is not physically with us, he has left us with the hope that He is continuously working for our good.

Joy is going through fear and trial, looking back and seeing what’s been done, and calling it good. We can find joy and hope in the reassurance that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.

Christ sent us the Holy Spirit so that we might take heart and hope in never being separated from and being able to be in constant communion with Him.
