The Quaker Distinctives: Testimony of Friendship

March 12, 2017

Scripture: John 15:1-17

We as Christians are called to live in and through Christ and that necessitates being a part of the Body, as part of community and in relationship.

We are not just servants of the Heavenly Father. We are also called His friends, His children.

Christianity is about a relationship with God but so many still see that as unattainable. But, yes, it is the entire point. Jesus became like us and, likewise, we can become like Him.

Jesus works to help us share love to the whole world, to make the whole world our friend, as Jesus made us His, and to bring the love of Christ to all.
