Scripture: Mark 4:35-41
In the midst of a fierce storm and a waterlogged, Jesus was asleep! Peacefully asleep. He knew they would make it to the other side.
It is not always easy to trust in God but it becomes easier the more we do it. Trust comes with practice.
Up to this point, the disciples didn’t really have any idea who Jesus really was. IF they had truly known Him, they would have known that they could trust Him.
If you don’t trust the Lord, it may be possible you don’t really know Him.
Even the most trusting people still have doubts, but they trust anyway. Trust comes with practice.
You don’t have to trust blindly (you can pack your parachute). You can still prepare but, at some point, you will still have to trust, someone or something.
Trust comes with practice and the trusted proving faithful.
Jesus proved himself faithful to those who trusted Him.
Sometimes in life, we will be scared or terrified. It will happen. But God can always be trusted. We need to keep our eyes on him.
Peter cried out to Jesus because he knew Jesus could save him. He only needed a little faith in order to walk on the water so long as he focused on Jesus.
